The coupled atomic-cavity system was studied to investigate its two-photon resonance dynamics. The single-photon trapped state was obtained with appreciable atomic decay. The dynamic Stark effect for the two-photon resonance was obtained analytically. A mathematical model of a single two-level atom coupled with single mode of cavity is presented using eigen energies and corresponding eigenstates.
