Quantum criticality and stability of three-body Coulomb systems

Abstract

Three-body Coulomb systems with (Q, q, Q) charges and (M, m, M) masses were analyzed using quantum phase transitions. Finite-size scaling method was used to show that there exists a transition curve through which all systems undergo a first-order phase transition from stable to unstable. The presence of a transition curve which confirmed the status of a system was described by finite-size scaling methods. The classification of the Coulomb system at various levels was also reported.
