Multidimensional signals with correlated frequencies for noncoherent detection over the Rayleigh channel

Abstract

The use of multidimensional alphabets with correlated tones and noncoherent detection over Rayleigh fading channels allows to increase the typically low spectral efficiency of noncoherent transmission and to compensate for the performance degradation due to the high correlation between the tones.
