Abstract

This was a multicenter, double-blind, randomized, controlled trial to study the efficacy of the topical ketoprofen patch in the treatment of tendonitis. This trial suggests that using a ketoprofen once-daily 100 mg patch is helpful in the management of tendonitis. Topical nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory analgesics represent a promising alternative in the management of musculoskeletal pain for the aging population.
