Abstract
Numerical simulation software often needs many input data having different natures. This article describes an interactive software that is of help in building the input data fill needed by oil reservoir simulators. A professional inference engine has been used to build this interface. This approach offers many advantages concerning the quality of the software produced, ie reliability, extensibility, user friendliness, etc. New prospects opened up by the mixed use of expertise rules and object-oriented languages are pointed out. The conclusion emphasizes the extension of this approach to the development of a common interface for exploration-production software. -English summary
