Initial value methods for the eigenelements of singular two-point boundary value problems

This paper is concerned with the application of Runge-Kutta methods in the approximation of eigenvalues and eigenfunctions using the shooting method for a class of singular two-point boundary value problems. It is shown that the classical Runge-Kutta methods have at least h2-order of convergence.
