Abstract

For microgrid interfaced sources, L-type filters are very useful for decoupling real and reactive power controls, but it has no voltage control loop. The absence of voltage loops complicates the implementations of virtual impedances and/or performing harmonics compensation. In this paper, methods are proposed to implement virtual impedances and compensate for the harmonics in L-type filters. The methods are verified by simulations and experimentally.
