Abstract

In line with the research being conducted by the Pacific Northwest Laboratory for the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission to establish risk-based inservice inspection guidelines for nuclear power plant components, the paper presents the results of calculations that address piping inspection effectiveness. Inspection strategies are also described.
