A new decoding algorithm for PN-generators filtered by a boolean function

Abstract

An algorithm used for the cryptanalysis of non-linear filter generators was discussed. The knowledge of Boolean functions and parity-check equations was used for obtaining the soft output joint algorithm (SOJA). The algorithm provided accurate information on the input sequences obtained after filtering. A description of the algorithm and its properties were also presented.
