Abstract

The paper presents a dynamic featured-based process planning and scheduling system which is currently under development utilizing a commercial CAD system. In this system, the product features are extracted using an AI-based feature extractor according to the shop floor capabilities. Using this system, the products can be dynamically process planned and scheduled.
